  Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa      Last Week Our time with the author/illustrator, Ruth McNally, was so fun on Wednesday. Each child was given a sketch pad to use throughout the hour with her. The children loved drawing and creating stories with her. Be sure to ask your child about this and keep the sketching going. 😊 In Science last week we continued to study Wind and Storms. We watched a video about the wind and what a large role it plays in our weather. Each child made a "Breeze Buddy" to aide in predicting the weather. We discussed that it might be best to find a good spot for it after spring break. Enjoy special time with your child each day snuggling with a bunch of books. 😊📚 Our Treasure Chest was busy last week.
