Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa      Last Week Here are the results of the Spring Mileage Club competition: K-2nd Bear Paw Winners: DeLapa (K): 481 laps , Brown (1st): 532 laps,  Younger (2nd) : 593 laps 3rd-5th Bear Paw Winners: Angeles (3rd): 520 laps,  Mishler (4th): 624 laps,  Saroni (5th): 236 laps The Book Bonanza was so great! What a wonderful gift it was for each student to choose 8 books to add to his/her home library. It was exciting to tell each other which ones were chosen.  Yearbooks have arrived and have been sent home with students who purchased them. We have a small amount available to purchase in the office for $15 cash or check to SJPS. Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa      Last Week We had just a perfect morning for our trip to Sarett Nature Center! Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who joined us as chaperones. We saw many live animals and plants both inside and out. 🐢⚘ Our class is running the track like crazy during Mileage Club. Monday will be the last opportunity for laps.   Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa      Last Week The big news of the week was the arrival of Miss Holly's daughter,  Waelynn . She arrive Wednesday morning and all are doing great! Congratulations to Miss Holly and her family. I will share some pictures soon.  Even though Mileage Club had to be cancelled on Monday, our class is definitely in the hunt for winning "the most laps" for grades Y5's-2. At last count we were 3rd in our division and 4th highest in the whole school!! Our kiddos are serious about bringing the trophy back to our room and getting that ice cream party 😋. I will keep you posted. Monday May 15 has been added to make up for the missed day.  Our Positivity Project shared a great video for teaching children to tie shoes.
